When can the ESTA validity be less than two years?

Expires earlier than two years if:

• A passport other than the one used for the ESTA application is used for travel
• ESTA application form is incomplete or incorrect
• Certain information in the completed ESTA form is no longer valid*.
• Traveler intends to stay in the U.S. for more than 90 consecutive days
• Traveler did not comply with travel requirements with ESTA
